1940s Jess; Re-naming help!

I'm to summon all .2 of you reading my blog to my aid.
I have a Jess.  She's perfect.  Gorgeous hair, lovely eyes, spectacular sense of humor, but...she begged for a new name.  She feels that this one is unsuitable for her life ahead with me.

Unfortunately, I do have a bit of a problem when it comes to new girls.  I feel as though I simply must give them a new name, even if I like their original one, or else they aren't really mine.

Silly?  Probably.

Tillie came over to check her out.
Still, it's a fact I can't change.

Really, the more I look, the more I adore.
You too?
What a surprise.

  1. Hi! I just came here from the boards, I'm MissCherryToes.
Your Jess is AMAZING! I've drooled over her for years, you're very lucky to get one!!! Hmm... Names.... Are you looking for something "vintage" or Modern? For a vintage name I think she would make an adorable Debbie/Deborah, Alice, Kim, Rose, Helen or even May. And yes, I LOOOOVVVEEE Bye Bye Birdie ;) She also looks like a very good Eva or Amy.
    Good luck naming her!

  2. Oh, thank you so much! I'm looking for any name that could fit :) I very much like Helen, or even Ellen. And Eva is adorable. And thanks for following!
